Happy Birthday Jesus!!!
This year was SO MUCH fun with Sophia. If you asked her about Christmas in the days leading up to today she would tell you that it was Jesus' birthday. In fact, she would tell anyone she saw (like the check out lady at the grocery store) that Jesus' birthday was coming on Christmas.
This year she seemed to REALLY enjoy Christmas morning. She was so excited .... singing .... laughing .... acting goofy. What a joy to experience. Thank you Lord!

At this rate, it was going to be a LONG morning opening presents....
This is Sophia's FAVORITE doll that she received last Christmas. Sometimes she pretends it's her baby other times she pretends it's her baby sister. As usual, Mei Mei came downstairs with her to "watch" her open presents. Notice how she is "propped up" against the sofa with a great "view" of our opening presents!
Sophia was so excited to get a big sister for her baby Mei Mei. She was telling us that the new one is a big girl just like she is and that the new one looks just like her. She said Mei Mei is like Lilah Grace (our daughter we are in the LONG process of adopting from China) and Ivy, the new doll is just like "Sophia." Too cute!
