January 1, 2007 - Happy New Year Family and Friends!

2006 was a wonderful year full of many blessings but the blessing we are most thankful for is our beautiful daughter Sophia! Sophia has been such a joy to be around (even as we have entered the much anticipated terrible two's). We thank our Lord and Saviour for giving us the privilege of being her daddy and mommy. Sophia has been talking for many months now but has started to use more and more three-word sentences since her 2nd birthday in November. She amazes us EVERY DAY with what she knows. Some of Sophia's favorite three-word sentences are: Sophia have it?; All by myself!; Hello, anybody there?; and my favorite God bless you! Sophia will clearly say God bless you to anyone who sneezes or coughs! Even our dog Smoochie!! How cute is that! Sophia can easily and quickly count to twenty.....well, for some reason she forgets the numbers "13" and "15" about 90% of the time. Sophia can identify many letters and can also spell her name!!!! YES!! We have her name spelled out in wooden letters on her wall and many times when we change her diaper we point to the letters and say, "S-O-P-H-I-A, Sophia." So one day while changing her diaper SHE starts pointing to the letters saying, "S-O-P-H-I-A, Sophia!"!! SHE'S GROWING UP SO FAST!!! The past year has gone by too fast!!
